I have to say, I just finished 'The Time Traveller's Wife' and I was not that impressed. It felt like reading a flat pancake - nothing actually HAPPENED. Henry and Clare did this, Henry and Clare did that, Henry and Clare are such pretentious fuckwits that they actually don't own a TV and decide to name their kid ALBA... zzzzzzz basically sums it up.

Next on my reading list are the Southern Vampire series by Charlaine Harris. I love True Blood, the TV series, and I want to understand all the fuss about Eric/Sookie, because I have to say I'm not getting it from the show! Even though I love Alexander Skarsgard :3 I just don't feel the chemistry between his character and Anna Paquin's. Don't get me wrong though, Beeeeel/Sookie is such a snoozefest.

I also plan to reread The Scarlet Letter, whose message, as I found out sadly and recently, is still very relevant today. I do love that book. I always think that if a film were to be made out of it, James Callis and Christina Hendricks could play Reverend Dimmesdale and Hester Prynne respectively. And 'One Caress' by Depeche Mode could be its theme song or whatever, because I've always found the lyrics incredibly fitting to the novel's themes of sex, religion, sin and guilt.
